Our farmers are vitally important to us. We work closely with over 2500 dairy farmers in major production regions in Northern and Southern Ireland creating Ireland's second largest dairy co-operative. Whilst all our commodity and value added dairy products are developed with the end user in mind, we do everything we can to ensure that our dairy farmers receive fair return for their milk supply.
All our farmers are licenced to produce and supply milk by the relevant government authorities in Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland. We do not accept any milk from unlicenced farms. In addition, our farmers place great importance on the welfare of their animals and operate on a well established set of propositions which provide a core framework encompassing animals' basic needs.
We have an advisory team to assist farmers with many aspects of farm management such as planning and the management of quality issues. As a result we have enjoyed long term associations with our farmers and their families spanning many generations.
