A traditional English dessert complemented with the sweet taste of white wine
Serves: 8-10
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Chill Time: 2 hours
Ingredients
- Rind and juice of 1 lemon
- Rind and juice of 1 lime
- 4 tbsp sweet white wine
- 200g/ml Creative Base
- 200ml Millac Gold
- 3 level tbsp caster sugar
Method
- Place the fruit rinds and juices in a bowl with the wine and marinate for at least 1 hour
- Whip the Creative Base on medium speed until it breaks down to a cream consistency
- Add the Millac Gold and continue to whip until both ingredients are blended and the mixture thickens
- Strain the juice and wine liquid through a fine sieve, reserving a few strands of rind for decoration
- Gently fold the strained liquid and sugar into the Creative Base/Millac Gold mixture
- Spoon into six glass dishes and chill for 2 hours or until set
- Decorate with the leftover citrus and rind and serve
Add your own touch
This dessert can be easily be adapted for diabetics by replacing the caster sugar with artificial sweetener.
