Steeped in Irish heritage, we are launching our annual Celebrate Green campaign with a ‘takeover’ of the month of March. This year we are focusing on the lush green grass of our family farms!
As a 100% farmer owned and managed Irish dairy co-operative situated on the Isle of Ireland, our farms are blessed with rich soil, a mild climate and plentiful rain, the perfect environment for growing an abundance of nutritious grass – essential for producing high quality milk.
To celebrate the lush green grass of Lakeland Dairies farms, our chefs have created a series of vibrant, delicious, green recipes all made with our versatile Millac cream products. The chefs even filmed and edited the videos themselves from home during lockdown!
Paul Chmielewski, Head of Marketing and International at Lakeland Dairies comments:
“Our Celebrate Green campaign for St Patrick’s Day is a great opportunity to embrace our Irish heritage and celebrate our dairy farming expertise. For more than 100 years we have been producing high-quality, wholesome and nutritious milk. Our milk is collected from contented cows which graze freely on lush, green pastures of our family farms, located on the beautiful Isle of Ireland.”
We will also be sharing some of our dairy expertise with fun facts about grass, cows and farming. Like and follow Millac Gold on Facebook to see the whole miniseries of green recipe videos.
Did you know, cows graze a different area of field each day, known as a paddock?
