- 350ml Millac Gold Single
- 125g Lakeland Daries Salted Butter
- 200ml Viva Semi-Skimmed Milk
- 500g Maris Piper Potato
- 25g Flour
- 1/4 bunch Chopped Parsley
- 1 red Chilli
- 1 Lemon Zest
- 400g Fish Pie Mix (Cod, Salmon, Smoked Haddock, Prawns)
Make the mash potato and add the Lakeland Dairies Butter, and 150g of Millac Gold Single. Leave at room temperature for the time being.
Poach the fish in the Viva Semi-Skimmed Milk and remove and leave to one side. Keep the Viva Semi-Skimmed Milk and use to make the white sauce a little later.
Make a white sauce using the Lakeland Dairies Butter, flour milk and 200ml of Millac Gold Single and cook out. Add the lemon zest, chilli and parsley.
Place the fish pieces back in the sauce and place in the bottom the serving dish. Pipe or spoon the mash potato over the top and sprinkle some hard cheese such as a mature cheddar over the top.
Place in a hot oven at 180°C for approx. 20 minutes or until fully hot.
